Tastee ("we", "us") makes the Tastee app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you tell us in the app: your first name, foods you enjoy or avoid, textures, tastes and smells that bother you, goals, allergies and dietary preferences, challenge pace, and the food tries you log.
- Account details: a random account ID created when you first open the app. If you choose "Save your progress", the identifier and email address Apple or Google share with us.
- Purchases: whether you have an active subscription. Payments are handled by Apple; we never see your card details.
How we use it
Only to run Tastee: to personalize your food challenges (including never suggesting foods that conflict with your allergies or diet), to save and sync your progress, and to provide your subscription. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored with our database provider (Supabase) and protected so that only your account can access it. Subscription status is managed through Apple and RevenueCat.
Health information
Allergy and food-preference information is used only to tailor suggestions. Tastee is not a medical service and does not diagnose or treat any condition.
Your choices
- Delete your account: in the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. This permanently erases your account and data.
- You can also email us to request access to or deletion of your data.
Children
Tastee is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
